OV153 Oil-Soluble Crude Oil Viscosity Reducer
eMAI™ OV153 is a high-efficiency oil-soluble viscosity reducer designed for high-viscosity, high-wax, and high-resin/asphaltene crude oils. It is formulated from specialty nonionic surfactants, high-carbon polyacrylate copolymers, and light aromatic solvents, providing excellent oil solubility, penetration, and viscosity reduction. The product penetrates and disperses resin-asphaltene aggregates, disrupts their stacked structure, improves crude-oil mobility, reduces transport resistance, and helps prevent pipeline blockage. It is suitable for heavy-oil wellbore and reservoir treatments, gathering-pipeline viscosity reduction, and refinery feed pretreatment.
Overview and Applications
PBR degrades polymer and gel damage; DFR and DF5212 provide silicone and silicone-free defoaming; FC56/FC76 lower surface and interfacial tension in acidizing and fracturing fluids; and OV153 improves heavy-oil mobility, forming a coordinated production-enhancement portfolio.
