DF5212 Silicone-Free Defoamer
eMAI™ DF5212 is a silicone-free defoamer formulated from fatty alcohol polyethers, esterified polyethers, dispersants, emulsifiers, and stabilizers. It maintains effective foam knockdown and suppression at low concentrations. The product contains no organosilicone or mineral oil, disperses readily in water, has good system compatibility, and is less likely to cause oil spots or cratering. It is suitable for water-based inks and pigment pastes, circulating water, sand washing, paint-spray wastewater, cleaning wastewater, sewage treatment, landfill-leachate biological treatment, multiple-effect evaporation, and petroleum-industry systems.
Overview and Applications
PBR degrades polymer and gel damage; DFR and DF5212 provide silicone and silicone-free defoaming; FC56/FC76 lower surface and interfacial tension in acidizing and fracturing fluids; and OV153 improves heavy-oil mobility, forming a coordinated production-enhancement portfolio.
