DS Desulfurization Agent
The main component of eMAI™ DS desulfurization agent is hydroxyethyl hexahydro-s-triazine. Its molecular chains are rich in nitrogen atoms and contain active hydrogen atoms, giving it extremely strong nucleophilicity; it rapidly undergoes irreversible chemical reactions with sulfides such as hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans, forming thermodynamically stable, water-soluble thio compounds. Its outstanding desulfurization performance fundamentally eliminates the acute toxicity hazards and equipment corrosion risks posed by hydrogen sulfide, and the reaction products can be treated together with produced water or reinjected into the formation without causing pipeline scaling or blockage—effectively ensuring safe oil and gas field production and environmental compliance. The product is mainly used for sulfide removal in crude oil production, natural gas gathering/processing, and refining processes.
Overview and Applications
DC45 selectively removes carbon dioxide, DS scavenges hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans, KHI10 delays hydrate nucleation, growth, and agglomeration, and FL30 reduces friction to improve crude throughput. The range supports natural-gas gathering, crude pipelines, and refinery front-end treatment.
