CL4 Drilling Fluid Cleaning Lubricant
The eMAI™ CL4 drilling fluid cleaning lubricant is a high-efficiency cleaning chemical formulated from multiple surfactants, penetrants, and auxiliary agents. It effectively disperses, strips, and removes drilling fluid filter cake, oil film, and gel structures remaining on casing walls, wellbore walls, and drilling tool surfaces during drilling operations, and is suitable for wellbore cleaning and displacement operations in water-based, oil-based, and synthetic-based drilling fluid systems. The product can be used for wellbore and casing-wall cleaning before cementing to improve cement sheath/interface bonding strength; wellbore cleaning and filter-cake removal during drilling fluid displacement; casing degreasing; cleaning of surface equipment and pipelines; cleaning of drill pipes, bits, and downhole tools; and cleaning during conversion between water-based and oil-based drilling fluid systems. Product features: High-efficiency cleaning: Cleaning efficiency can exceed 90%, effectively removing drilling fluid residues from wellbore and casing surfaces. Broad applicability: Compatible with water-based, oil-based, and synthetic-based drilling fluid systems. Wettability reversal: Converts oil-wet interfaces to water-wet interfaces to improve interfacial bonding conditions. Environmental profile: Uses biodegradable raw materials and meets environmental requirements. Temperature resistance: Broad applicable temperature range, with product temperature resistance up to 200°C.
Overview and Applications
PI50 adsorbs and seals microfractures to suppress shale hydration and dispersion in water-based drilling fluids and water-sensitive formations. CL4 works with water-, oil-, and synthetic-based fluids to remove filter cake and oil films from the wellbore, casing, and tools while improving cement-bonding surfaces.
